Antonio Martinez pleads guilty in Catonsville bomb plot: The 22-year-old Baltimore area man was . He pleaded guilty to charges stemming from his attempt to detonate a fake bomb outside a military recruiting station in Catonsville on Dec. 8, 2010.

Schools Superintendent felt the heat from Comptroller Peter Franchot: one final time asking for state funds for capital programs. The comptroller took him to task for still not having a plan to put air conditioning in place in many schools in the county.

Owings Mills gets an Olive Garden: Some say the addition of a national restaurant chain like is another sign that Owings Mills is getting some love from developers after years of being ignored.

Downtown Towson will get a 16-screen movie theater: Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz that Cinemark will operate the theater on land that will include restaurants and a parking garage.
