  1. As of Jul. 15, thousands in Baltimore County are without power. The Red Cross will be at the Cockeysville and Hereford libraries and the Jacksonville Senior Center today, Jul. 16, to help those without power and to distribute water. Residents can report outages online at bge.com, through the app, by texting 69243, or by calling customer service at 877-778-2222. (Maryland Patch)
  2. The 2022 BCPS Middle School Juried Art Exhibition is on display until Aug. 29 in the Superintendent's Gallery in the BCPS administration building. Awards were given to 24 Baltimore County Public Schools' middle school students. Maya Tedder, an 8th grader at Catonsville Middle School, won Third Place for "Pointillism Animal," and Jack McGuinn, an 8th grader at Catonsville Middle School, received an honorable mention for "The G.O.A.T."   3. The Christmas in July Food and Fund Drive, Catonsville Emergency Assistance's (CEA) primary summer fundraiser, is on Saturday, Jul. 23. There will be a drive-through food drop-off and a funds drive for Catonsville's food pantry. View the link for details. (Catonsville Patch)
