Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

1. On Sept. 1, the Baltimore County Planning Board and the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation will host a public hearing for community input. The Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation is proposing an amendment to the County's Ten Year Solid Waste Management Plan regarding a proposed medical waste facility in Rosedale. The hearing will be at 5:00 p.m. in Room 104 of the Jefferson Building in Towson, located at 105 West Chesapeake Avenue. (Nottingham MD)
2. Maryland's 39th annual National Night Out is tomorrow, Aug. 2! The Maryland State Police will join local police and communities to "promote positive police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie." At 5:00 p.m., the Golden Ring Barrack will be at Emanuel United Methodist Church located at 6517 Frederick Road in Catonsville. (The Southern Maryland Chronicle)
