- A woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted by three University of Maryland Baltimore County baseball players in 2017 claims her First Amendment rights were violated when Baltimore County officials attempted to dissuade her from filing rape charges. Baltimore County and the state would each pay $50,000 under the settlement. The state Board of Public Works will decide whether to approve the settlement at the Oct. 26 meeting. - Next month, a Preholiday Bazaar will take place at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Catonsville. On Nov. 5, community members can shop for a holiday gift or set up a vendor table to sell products. View the link for more information. (Patch)
