- The Maryland Department of Transportation announced the suspension of four Camden Line Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC) trains from Sep. 19 through Sep. 30 to accommodate CSX Transportation, which is experiencing extreme freight train congestion. Commuters who use the Camden line, including St. Denis MARC station which is about 10 minutes from Catonsville, should consider finding alternative means of transportation. (CBS News)
- According to a poll released yesterday, Sep. 19, Democrat Wes Moore holds a 22 percentage point lead over Republican Dan Cox in Maryland's race for governor. The poll also showed that Democrats are leading by 13 percentage points or more in all statewide races, including attorney general, comptroller, and the U.S. Senate. Mileah Kromer, director of Goucher College’s Sarah T. Hughes Center for Politics, said, "It's shaping up to be a potential sweep for Democrats at the state level." (Washington Post)
