- The Catonsville High School Volleyball team is back with new starters, and the results speak for themselves. This season, the Catonsville Comets have bounced back from a string of losses at the beginning of the season with an impressive win against their rivals from Pikesville. Players and coaches are optimistic that this is only the beginning of what could be a banner season. (Subscription: Baltimore Sun)
- The nominees for Baltimore County Police Accountability Board members have been announced, and a Catonsville resident is among the potentials. A former paramedic and firefighter who currently works as a registered nurse at Children's National Hospital, Peter Fitzpatrick of Catonsville has been announced as a nominee. Members of the board will work with law enforcement to build the relationship between officers and the community. (Baltimore County News)
- Are snow days soon going to be a thing of the past? Baltimore County schools are asking parents if instead of canceling school during bad weather, they should simply opt for virtual classes. Parents who wish to offer input on the subject should submit their votes by Sep. 23. (WBAL TV)
