Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

  1. Yesterday, Sep. 18, the first meeting of the 2022-2023 Maryland Youth Advisory Council was convened by the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services. There are 20 members from 13 jurisdictions across Maryland in the council, including University of Maryland Baltimore County sophomore Meghna Chandraskera. Governor Larry Hogan said, "It’s important that young Marylanders have a seat at the table to participate in discussions that affect their lives." (WCBC Radio)
  2. On Friday, Sep. 16, the Catonsville High School football team, the Comets, won 41 to 6 against Towson on homecoming. For the second game in a row, Catonsville sophomore running back Tyler Boyd rushed for more than 200 yards. (Baltimore Sun)
  3. On Sep. 23, learn about the equinox while strolling through the woods with friends and family under the stars.
