Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:
- Yesterday morning, Sep. 12, Catonsville High School went on lockdown after a person thought to be armed with a gun walked near the school. Baltimore County School District officials said the person was never on campus. The school was locked down for 10 minutes, and then resumed normal activities. The Baltimore County police said there was no firearm or threat to the public. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
- A University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) investigation found that longtime swim coach, Chad Cradock, was allegedly sexually harassing swimmers at the school. The U.S. Department of Justice is now looking into the case due to its civil rights probe into UMBC's Title IX compliance. (Subscription: Baltimore Sun)
