Here are the top three stories in Catonsville today:
- Yesterday, Sep. 20, Baltimore County Council consented to a county executive's nominees for the first-ever Police Accountability Board (PAB). County Executive Johnny
Olszewski's nine nominees were first announced on Sep. 13. Catonsville resident Peter Fitzpatrick, a registered nurse with Children's National Hospital, will serve as the District 1 member. (Conduit Street) - A Baltimore County school only 30 minutes away from Catonsville was evacuated after the discovery of a suspicious package. Yesterday, Sep. 20, a package was found in a vehicle just off campus at Pine Grove Middle School. Baltimore County police and school officials evacuated the school "out of an abundance of caution." All students and faculty were safe. The Baltimore County police said they have a person of interest in custody, but as of Sep. 20, there were no further details. (WBAL TV 11)

In the Nov. 8 general election, Maryland voters will be asked, "Do you favor the legalization of the use of cannabis by an individual who is at least 21 years of age on or after Jul. 1, 2023, in the State of Maryland?"
