Here are the top three stories in Catonsville today:

  1. A bill being debated by the Baltimore County Council would lift the cap on members' pensions. The bill, which will be up for debate on Tuesday, was introduced by Council Charman Julian Jones. In Jones's words, "It should never have been there in the first place." What do you think? (Baltimore Sun)
  2. Amazon will be closing two area facilities. The retailer filed with state regulators on Friday that one facility in Baltimore County and one in Anne Arundel County would be closed effective on Oct. 25.
