1. From Friday, Jul. 22, at 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Saturday, Jul. 23, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will perform emergency paving on northbound I-695 (Baltimore Beltway inner loop) from US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) to I-70, north of Catonsville. Expect single and double lane closures at this time. (Maryland Gov)
2. Many jobs involving food require employees to have the ServSafe® Food Safety Manager Certification. CCBC Catonsville, Essex, Owings Mills, and Hunt Valley campuses will have ServSafe® Food Safety Manager Certification classes starting on Aug. 20 for the Fall 2022 semester. 3. According to a new analysis of FBI internet crime data, corporate data breaches have compromised the personal data of Maryland residents and amounted to multi-billion-dollar losses. In Maryland from 2017 to 2021, the number of breaches has decreased by 63 percent but the amount of money taken has increased by 59 percent. According to a Forbes Advisor analysis, Maryland ranks No. 17 in the number of corporate data breach victims from 2017 to 2021. (Maryland Patch)
