Highest COVID Case Level In Baltimore Co., Find Vaccine: Dec. 28
According to the Maryland Department of Health, as of Tuesday, the state has 675,364 confirmed cases.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of Tuesday, Baltimore County has reached a total of 90,568 positive new COVID-19 cases and 1,914 deaths, according to the Baltimore County Health Department. The state has 675,364 confirmed cases and 11,437 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.
The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Baltimore County as of Dec. 28:
- 21234 with 6,667 cases
- 21222 with 5,842 cases
- 21228 with 4,910 cases
- 21117 with 4,840 cases
- 21220 with 4,637 cases
The county health department has its own website created to monitor the situation, broken down by new cases per day and other data.

The CDC advises taking several measures to help stop the spread of the virus, including the following:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- Cover coughs and sneezes.
- Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
- Stay 6 feet away from others.
- Clean and disinfect.
- Monitor your health daily.

As of Tuesday, 69.85 percent of Baltimore County residents have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 578,091 people. The most vaccinated segment of the county population happens to be those aged 75 to 79.
