- The Maryland State Police are expecting an increase in impaired drivers throughout Maryland this holiday weekend, today, Sep. 2, through Monday, Sep. 5. The state police will be conducting saturation patrols in areas known to have a higher number of DUI crashes or arrests, including I-695 in Baltimore County. (Maryland Gov)
- Tomorrow, Sep. 4, the Baltimore County Police Department will be assisting in the Maryland Cycling Classic (MCC), a one-day 120-mile international pro cycling race. The race will operate with rolling road closures, meaning roads will be temporarily closed while cyclists race through. View the link for details. (Catonsville Patch)
- The Maryland State Department of Education announced the finalists for the 2022-23 Maryland Teacher of the Year. Among the seven finalists was Alicia Amaral Freeman of Baltimore County Public Schools. Congratulations to all! (Maryland Gov)
