Organizers Hard at Work for Fourth of July

Parade organizers are already hard at work for the annual event.

It's March 2 and while July is still four months away, organizers are already hard at work for the Catonsville Fourth of July parade.

Not long after last year's festivities end, the Catonsville Celebrations Committee starts the planning all over again. In fact, groups wanting to march in the parade started securing their spot months ago, said committee chairman Ed Cogswell.

The theme of this year's parade is 1812. Organizers are still narrowing down the choices for the grand marshall, Cogswell said.
