Why Go: The lovely grounds of the park are a perfect way to spend a fall day in Catonsville. Check out the antique cars and buy some baked goods while you're there.

Cost: Free

Why Go: The first-time event celebrated the school's designation as Green School and brings together businesses and community groups to share environmentally-friendly ideas and products. Hands-on activities will be available for the children.

Cost: $20

Why Go: The Catonville Men's Civic Association in conjunction with The Shed Guys will be hosting this fourth annual horseshoe tournament. Funds raised will go back to organizations in Catonsville.

4. Mount De Sales Homecoming Day

 

Where/When: Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost: Free

Why Go: Events on Saturday include field hockey games, volleyball games, activities and shopping opportunities.

Where/When: Sunday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. at the No. 8 Streetcar Path. Enter the path at 1600 Frederick Road.

Cost: Free

Why Go: If you haven't seen the mural that students from created this summer, Sunday is the day to do it. The official Town Crier of Catonsville, Squire Frederick Taylor, will open the ceremony.  Councilman Tom Quirk will officially unveil the mural at 2:15 p.m. The event is sponsored by Catonsville Rails to Trails.
