At the Oct. 12 Board of Public Works (BPW) meeting, the board considered a request to enter into grant agreements for grants totaling $200,000 to the Board of Directors of the B'More Artist Guild, Inc. for the Clubhouse of Catonsville. The grants would be used for the acquisition, planning, design, construction, repair, renovation, reconstruction, site improvement, and capital equipping of the clubhouse. (Conduit Street)
  2. Yesterday, Oct. 17, 22-year-old Kevin Sharp plead guilty to First Degree Murder in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County for the killing of Barry Ransom. On Oct. 15, 2021, Baltimore County Police found the Morgan State University student fatally shot in the back and arm in nearby Towson. Sharp robbed the student and then shot him in the back when he tried to run. Sharp is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 23, 2022. (Fox Baltimore)
