Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

  1. About 20 percent of Baltimore County Police Department, 350 sworn members, still do not have body cameras. It has been more than six years since Baltimore County launched its body camera program for the BCPD. Democratic State Senator Charles Sydnor of Baltimore County said the body cameras create "a record of the interaction between the public and police officers, so it holds both parties accountable to one another."   2. Catonsville football squad is ready to start the new season! It is Coach Jaren Maybin's fifth year coaching the team.   3. On Thursday, Sep. 1, the two-year scholarships for nearly 60 CCBC students will be announced at CCBC Catonsville. Hoyer, who represents Maryland's 5th Congressional District, and Baltimore County Executive John Olszewski, Jr. will both attend the event. (Globe News Wire)
