News reporters have noticed over the past few months that Trump has had strange and persistent bruising on his right hand, which he vainly attempts to hide with awful makeup. Then they noticed that his ankles have looked swollen.
So much has been made of this that White House officials finally had to say something -- and, of course, they lied.
They said that Trump has "benign" chronic venous insufficiency, which they said explains his ankle-swelling.
The persistent bruise on his hand, they said, is due to the fact that he takes a daily aspirin to ward off a heart attack, and that he engages in frequent vigorous
hand-shaking.
"Real" doctors who have seen this news are already disputing the White House statements.
First, it is no longer recommended that anyone takes a daily aspirin to ward off a first heart attack.
Second, chronic venous insufficiency cannot be termed "benign" if its primary cause is not known. This condition could lead to serious cardiac issues and/or deep vein thrombosis.
Yes, Trump does vigorously shake hands, but he is also known to be a germaphobe, so he is selective with whom he shakes hands. It is doubtful that handshakes are the cause of his bruising.
Stay tuned.
