Temperatures are expected to rise above 100 degrees.

It's going to be hot again today and possibly even hotter than yesterday. Here's what you need to know to get through Friday and the weekend.
1. An excessive heat warning remains in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. The temperature is expected to creep past 100 degrees Friday.
2. A code red air quality alert is also in effect all day Friday. A code red means that air quality is unhealthy for the general population.
