3 Women Report Intruder, 1 Sexual Assault In College Park
Three women on the same street in College Park have reported a stranger entering their home through an unlocked door or window, police said.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Three women on the same street in College Park have reported a stranger entering their home through an unlocked door or window, prompting Prince George's County police to increase patrols in the area, police said Tuesday. The most recent incident happened at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 in the 4500 block of Guilford Rd. The victim told police that a man entered her apartment through an unlocked window. She woke up to him inappropriately touching her, police said.
A similar occurrence happened just hours earlier in the same block. A woman told police that at 1 a.m. a man opened an unlocked window and peered into her apartment.

On Sept. 9, a man entered an unlocked door around 1 a.m. in the same block of Guilford Road. A female resident saw a man standing in the doorway, police said.
In all three incidents, the women screamed when they saw the man, prompting him to flee. Police said detectives are currently looking into two additional reports in the same area that occurred over the last month. Police said it is unclear whether the same suspect is linked to these incidents.
