Celebrate the American Dream with Chicken Wings, Ice Cream

Hard Times Cafe and Baskin Robbins have you set for the day, as long as you don't care about things like "vegetables."

Forget the Fourth of July. Today, April 27, is the most American day of the year. 

The day's festivities are two-fold: First, it's National Wing Day. Second, Baskin-Robbins is honoring the nation's fallen fire fighters with an evening of 31-cent ice cream. And you can celebrate both without leaving the comfort of College Park.

will be recognizing National Wing Day by providing you with a free half-order of wings with purchase of an entree ... which, in the spirit of patriotism, should probably be more wings.

Once you're done wet-napping the wing sauce from your face/hair, head across the street to , where employees will dutifully serve you the scoop of your choice for a scant 31 cents from 5 - 10 p.m. Not only will your stomach thank you, but the National Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation will, too - $100,000 of Baskin-Robbins money will be donated to the organization.
