Sunburst Squash and More at the Farmers Market at Maryland

If you're looking to broaden your vegetable horizons this summer, the Farmers Market at Maryland has you covered.

Drop by the front of the Cole Student Activities Building Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a selection of fresh, local fare, including sunburst squash from Valencia's Produce.

This week's lineup also features:

• Bonaparte Breads: Bread and French pastries
• Country Vittles from Critter Hill Farm: Meat products
• Upper Crust Bakery: Freshly baked breads
• McLeaf's Orchard: Ginger gold, zestar, and star gala apples plus watermelon, canteloupes, cipollini onions, green beans, shallots, and tomatilloes
• Picnic Gourmet Spreads: Gourmet sweet and savory cheese spreads
• Springfield Lamb of Kent County, Maryland: Lamb and sheep products
• Valencia's Produce: Last day for blueberries
• Whipple Farms: Biodynamic and heirloom produce

Representatives from the University of Maryland Campus Arboretum will also be on hand at Wednesday's market.
