$1.3M Opens Up For Residents Struggling To Pay Rent In Howard County
Income-eligible residents facing eviction in Howard County can apply for an additional round of $1.3M in funding.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD ā An additional round of $1.3 million in funding will be made available to support residents struggling to pay rent due to loss of income or illness during the pandemic and facing eviction.
From March 6-10, income-eligible residents can apply for assistance to pay up to 18 months of past due rent to avoid eviction. Residents must live in Howard County and provide documentation of a pending eviction to qualify for assistance. Household income limits apply. Details can be found on the Howard County Department of Housing and Community Development COVID-19 website.
Applicants with an eviction notice can apply directly at https://howardcounty.prefixhealth.com to complete the application and upload required documents.
