2 Men Robbed At Gunpoint In Vehicles: Police
Two men reported being robbed on two separate occasions while sitting in vehicles with acquaintances, according to Howard County Police.
COLUMBIA, MD — In less than 24 hours, two cases were reported of a man being in a vehicle with someone he knew, but were robbed at gunpoint.
Both incidents happened in Columbia, according to Howard County Police. The first armed robbery happened Jan. 9 shortly after noon in the 8400 block of Greystone Lane. A man reported that he was in the vehicle with a male acquaintance who then pulled out a gun and demanded the victim hand over his wallet and cash. The victim complied and the suspect took off. No one was injured, police reported.
The second incident happened Jan. 10 around 11 p.m. in the 6500 block of Quiet Hours. A man told police he was in a vehicle with an acquaintance and another man when the man pulled out a gun and stole his jewelry, phone and wallet before taking off. No one was injured in that incident.
