2025 Howard County Fair Schedule: Music, Food, Contests And More

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The 29th annual Howard County Fair is going on now through Saturday at the fairgrounds at 2210 Fairgrounds Road in West Friendship.

Some of the activities on the schedule for the 2025 fair - in addition to entry judging - include a bicycle contest, square dance demonstration, a pretty animal contest, tour of a live bee colony with a beekeeper, midway rides, the food and nutrition bowl, and more. The kids and critters barn offers plenty of hands-on fun, as does the little farmers building. There will be ag demonstrations, food to enjoy and live music.

There's also a cornhole tournament, a fair book cover contest, mule pulling contest, youth model horse show, mule jump contest, pretty animal contest, horse pulling contest, farmer wars, pie eating contest, parade of floats, lawn mower contest, antique tractor pull, baby contest miniature parade and the Future Howard County Farmer and Little Miss HCFB contest.

The fair is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for anyone age 13 and older, $5 for senior citizens. You can buy tickets online. This is for fair admission only and does not include amusement tickets.
