HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

Dragoness is a 1-year-old female bearded dragons surrendered by the owner for not having enough time to care for her.

Allie seeks a gentle and patient home where she'll feel loved and safe. She's 2 years old and would do best in an adult home. She's quite smart and has a very sweet personality, but does worry about what others will do when they're around her so her next owner will need to work on trust with this sweet doll.

Chance happens to be a 1-year-old mixed breed dog who loves to play. He's loyal and smart, but can be a bit anxious in new situations. He needs a little training and has done well with kids ages 5 to 13.

Papaya is a Sun Conure looking for a home with adults familiar with birds unaccustomed to being handled.

Three-month-old Archie loves to play, is curious and friendly.

Martin is a gentle orange tabby cat who is about 3 years old. He purrs when petted but is still adjusting to being around people.
