HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Community members are invited to attend a high school exhibition at the Howard County Department of Education, which showcases the works and creativity of Art I students in classes held across all 13 high schools throughout Howard County.

Students enrolled in Art I build a foundation in the visual arts through hands-on practice in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital and mixed media, according to the school district.

The artwork will be on display through May 28 in the main hallway of the Howard County Department of Education building, which is located at 10910 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City. The art showcase can be seen Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
