HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

King Julian is an adorable little guinea pig full of curiosity and fun. In fact, he'll scamper over to greet you when you walk into the room. He loves to snack on kale, carrots and strawberries, and run around his cage. He'll even purr when you pet him.

Cheeko's a curious and sweet boy with adorable round cheeks. He'll say hello when you speak to him, bonds quickly and will roll upside down for tummy scratches.

Livia, an 8-week-old female American pit bull terrier mix happens to be sweet and playful. She's ready for some puppy classes to help her learn how to wait and pay attention. This cutie pie can't wait to head to her forever home.

Marley's an obedient, loyal puppy who can be a little shy at times, but does well riding in the car, is housebroken, great with kids and loves to play with toys. This German shepherd is only six months old and the sweetest guy.

A bashful sweetheart, Baby Boy can't wait to bust out of the shelter and head to a quiet, loving home. He's learning how to play and lived previously with another cat.

Atticus, a 1-year-old Cane Corso, was found as a stray in Jessup. This pup will eventually fill out and gain weight with the right diet. He loves playing with the puppies and the shelter and is super gentle with them.

Scooby and Shorty, 7-year-old Chihuahua/Yorkie mixes, can't wait to head to their forever homes together. They're accustomed to being loose in the house and lived with an older child. They're great in a vehicle and love to go for walks.

A group of bully mix puppies are scooting around the shelter loving the attention from volunteers and playing with the other dogs. There are nine babies who need a new forever home.
