These pets are searching for their forever homes. They are currently at the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.
Billy, a mixed breed puppy, happens to be around 11 months old. He has a sensitive and sweet nature, and might be a bit unsure at first, but when treated gently and with a calmness, he'll relax and show you his belly for a rub. Billy would do best in an adult home or one with older children who can understand how to be gentle with him.

Two-year-old Kendell will prove to be the perfect pet as she makes great eye contact while waiting for commands, is loyal, treat-motivated and loves to bark during playtime. This Kelpie/husky mix will crack you up, she's so funny. She loves to run and would appreciate an active home with playtime or hiking for exercise. She has used her mouth to nibble, so she may need to be with older children.

Three-year-old Patrick looks like he could be a European short hair. He's bashful at first, but the moment he's spoken to and gently treated, he'll become your best friend. He's gentle with people in return and loves to show affection. He'll rub his head on you and start purring. He'll likely to best in an adult home or one with older children who will understand how to be gentle with him. He would love a cat tree and window sill for perching.

Alexander was found lost and hungry in Ellicott City, and was thrilled to have food and affection once at the shelter. He's quite handsome and a gentle sweetheart who looks like a Norwegian Forest cat. The shelter believes he's five or six years old and would be most comfortable in an adult home or one with older children who will know to be gentle.
