HCPSS Students Honored By C-SPAN For Video Documentaries
Several HCPSS students have been named honorable mention award winners in the 2025 C-SPAN StudentCam competition.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Several high school students from the Howard County Public School System were named honorable mention in the 2025 C-SPAN StudentCam competition.
The competition, which was open to students in grades 6th through 12th, asked students to create a video documentary on the topic of “Your Message to the President: What issue is most important to you or your community?”

C-SPAN, or Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network, is an American cable and satellite television network, created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a nonprofit public service. It televises proceedings of the United States federal government and other public affairs programming.
