Columbia Gateway Drive and Snowden River Parkway Paving Projects to Begin

The ramp will be closed during the construction hours. Flagging operations and signs will be in place to direct traffic as needed.

From Howard County: A Howard County construction project to mill and repave the Columbia Gateway entrance ramp off east bound MD 175 toward Columbia Gateway Drive in Columbia is expected to begin on or about Wednesday, April 26. Weather permitting, the project is expected to take one day to complete.

Milling and paving operations will take place from 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening through 5:00 a.m., Thursdaymorning. The ramp will be closed during the construction hours. Flagging operations and signs will be in place to direct traffic as needed during construction hours. Motorists are advised to follow the message boards for detours and updates regarding changes to construction hours.


A Howard County construction project to mill and repave the Snowden River Parkway between McGaw Road and the Park & Ride near MD175 bridge in Columbia is expected to begin on or about thisSunday, April 23. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-May.

Milling and paving operations will take place Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Flagging operations and signs will be in place to direct traffic as needed during construction hours. Motorists are advised to follow the message boards for updates regarding changes to construction hours and lane shifts.
