As many were gathered outside for cookouts on Memorial Day, police said a cow was having a picnic on US 40 in Howard County. The animal was hanging out in the median on Route 40, according to police. The cow's owner had tried to lasso the animal, to no avail. >>> Read more.

Daycare More Expensive Than College in Maryland, Study Finds
Parents in Maryland may be dipping into college savings for their kids much earlier. They may have to use the savings to pay for daycare before that child even heads to elementary school.
