Precious Deaf Great Pyrenees Mix From Howard County To Compete In XIX Puppy Bowl Sunday

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Kayden, now known by his new adoptive family from Columbia as Bear, will appear in the 19th annual Puppy Bowl Sunday.

Bear happens to be a hearing impaired Great Pyrenees mix and is known by rescue workers at Green Dogs Unleashed in Virginia as "one of the happiest balls of fluff in existence," according to WMAR.

The Puppy Bowl is designed to help more than 120 featured dogs get adopted from 67 animal shelters and rescues around the world and airs before the Super Bowl. The adorable pups are split into two teams - team Ruff versus team Fluff - who are vying for the Lombarky trophy. Kayden a.k.a. Bear plays for Team Ruff.
