Dorsey Run Road Closure Possible For Sewer Line Installation Project
A sewer line installation project may require the closure of Dorsey Run Road near the railroad tracks, according to the county.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A construction project has started that calls for the installation of approximately 2,200 feet of a new 36-inch sewer line from the county department of public works’ Dorsey Run Pumping Station, located at the end of Patuxent Range Road (east) in Jessup, north along the Dorsey Run River and CSX railroad tracks.
Weather permitting, the project will wrap up in December 2025.
The new sewer line will increase the capacity of the overall system and also will include the installation of additional sewer manholes, an underground diversion structure and miscellaneous accessories.
