Gun, Drug Trafficking Operation Busted And Father-Son Duo Charged
Police have charged a father and his son for their role in a firearms and drug trafficking operation based out of Howard County.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A father-son duo faces nearly two dozen combined charges after police say they were operating a firearms trafficking operation in Howard County.
In July, Howard County police detectives were told about an individual who was selling guns in and around the county. During the next few months, undercover officers bought guns from the individual and learned that he was being helped by his dad. As detectives expanded the investigation, they learned that the father of the suspect also was distributing crack cocaine, heroin and fentanyl, according to the Howard County Police Department.
By October, Howard County Police had shut down the firearms trafficking operation, as well as the drugs side of the business. Martese Kosh, 38, of Baltimore, has been indicted on 10 counts of weapon charges and his father Ronald Kosh, 60, of Ellicott City, has been indicted on 11 counts of weapon and drug charges, according to the police department.
