Construction Project on Columbia Sewer Mains to Begin Dec. 19

The project will not impact vehicular traffic in the area and is expected to be completed by mid-January.

From the Department of Public Information: A Howard County construction project to protect and stabilize the sewer mains and manholes in a Columbia stream is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, December 19. The project will include the relocation of the manholes that are exposed in the stream near the intersection of Shaker Drive and Seneca Farm Road. Weather permitting, the construction is expected to be completed by mid-January.

The project will not impact vehicular traffic in the area.
