Howard County Printer Ranked #1 in the Nation

Printing News ranks IronMark at the top.

Columbia, MD (June 30, 2016) - Howard County based IronMark has been ranked the #1 printer in the county by Printing News in their yearly ranking of the Top 100 Quick and Small Commercial Printers.

The Printing News top 100 list was generated by ranking businesses according to their 2015 sales. Annapolis Junction based IronMark, who was ranked #2 in 2014, took the top spot this year after generating $19,646,500 in sales in 2015.

“This ranking is a well-deserved acknowledgement of IronMark’s continued success in its industry,” said Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman. “For more than six decades, this small family-owned company has grown and adapted to customer needs. I applaud the second-generation family leadership and all the employees who have taken IronMark to the top.”

With the assistance of the Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA) IronMark relocated to Howard County in 2014, consolidating their Hunt Valley and Annapolis locations into one 50,000 sq. ft. headquarters in order to better serve customers across the Mid-Atlantic.

“We want to congratulate IronMark for reaching the number one spot of the top 100 list,” said Lawrence Twele, CEO of the HCEDA. “We are happy that we have had the opportunity to play a small part in helping them grow and get the recognition they deserve.”

IronMark employs 105 people and provides a broad array of services including offset, digital, and large format printing, graphic design, web development, event promotions and products as well as e-comm services.
