Teen Found Fatally Shot In Vehicle: HCPD

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police are searching for at least one suspect after a teenager was found dead in a parked vehicle Tuesday night in Columbia.

Around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 14, Howard County police officers were called to the 6000 block of Helen Dorsey Way for a report of "suspicious circumstances." They found a teenage boy with at least one gunshot wound sitting in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police department.

On Jan. 15, the police department identified the shooting victim as Lance Carrington, 17.
