Photo of the Day: Storm Clouds and Sunshine
As a severe storm threatened over Howard County, rays of sunshine peaked past the clouds in Oella just across the river from Ellicott City.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Howard County at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. When I went out to check the clouds, I could see the storm clouds rolling in with the sunshine reflecting off of them and took a picture of the skies over Howard County.
NWS reported the thunderstorm warning would expire at approximately 5:30 p.m.
