Photos of Possible Woodbine Tornado Site Show Debris, Flattened Building
HCDFRS reported federal officials will be investigating the damage Tuesday in Woodbine.
A possible tornado flattened two structures in Woodbine on Monday night and today the Howard County Fire Department and Rescue Services said federal officials would investigate the site to assess the damage.
Multiple pictures posted to the fire department's Facebook page Tuesday morning shows significant amounts of debris piled on top of each other, a flattened structure and a fallen tree.

The fire department said Tuesday a garage shed and a building were found flattened at the site in the 3200 block of Starting Gate Court in Woodbine around 7 p.m.
A nearby home which contained two residents was not damaged and the people were not injured, according to the fire department.

On Twitter, the fire department reported media will have access to the scene while National Weather Service officials assess the damage.
Throughout Tuesday storms battered the region resulting in periods of heavy rain. The National Weather Service reported about 2 inches of rain fell over 36 hours from Sunday night to Monday night.
