Rabies Clinic Thursday For Howard County Pet Owners Canceled Due To Weather

A special $5 vaccination clinic originally scheduled for Thursday in Howard County has been canceled due to the forecast.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD ā€” The special rabies vaccination clinic planned for Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Davis Road Animal Control & Adoption Center, 8576 Davis Road in Columbia, has been canceled due to the forecasted weather.

Hosted by the Howard County Health Department in cooperation with the Animal Control and Adoption Center, the $5 vaccination clinics are held monthly.

Pets must be at least four months old to receive a vaccination. Animals can be vaccinated with 1 or 3-year vaccine based on prior vaccination history. Bring a copy of previous vaccine history from a veterinarian. A county license for pets can be obtained at an additional charge.
