Rabies Vaccination Clinic Planned For Howard County Pets

County leaders have planned a rabies vaccination clinic for Howard County pets on June 20 in Columbia. A county license can be bought, too.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Residents can take their pets to a rabies vaccination clinic planned for June 20 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Davis Road Animal Control & Adoption Center located at 8576 Davis Rd. in Columbia.

Pets must be at least four months old to receive a vaccination. Animals can be vaccinated with a 1- or 3-year vaccine based on prior vaccination history. Pet owners are asked to take a copy of previous vaccine history from a veterinarian. A county license for each pet can be bought for an additional charge.

All pets must be on non-retractable leash or in an escape-proof carrier and muzzles are required for aggressive dogs, event organizers said.
