Vaccinate Your Pets At a Rabies Clinic Thursday In Howard County Starting At Noon
If your pet needs its rabies vaccination, be sure to pop by the Howard County rabies clinic Thursday starting at noon.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The next rabies vaccination clinic for Howard County pet owners will be Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The Howard County Health Department, in cooperation with the county animal control and adoption center, sponsors monthly $50 vaccination clinics to protect cats, dogs and ferrets from the rabies virus.
The clinic will be conducted at the Davis Road Animal Control & Adoption Center at 8576 Davis Road in Columbia.

Pets must be at least four months old to receive a vaccination. Animals may be vaccinated with a 1- or 3-year vaccine based on prior vaccination history. Be sure to bring a copy of a pet's previous vaccine history from a veterinarian. A county license for pets can be bought at the vaccination clinic for $6 for an altered pet and $24 for an unaltered pet.
All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
