Residents Can Weigh In On Howard County's FY25 Operating Budget At Upcoming Hearing

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Residents can weigh in on Howard County's budget for fiscal year 2025 at the first residents' budget hearing set for Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. The budget hearing also will be held virtually for those who cannot attend in person.

"The budget is a reflection of our community’s shared priorities. This hearing provides a wonderful opportunity for our residents to offer input and make their voices heard as we work to develop the county’s FY25 budget. While we have faced many challenges, I’m confident Howard County will remain resilient and emerge stronger than ever, when we work together as a community," said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball.

Residents can sign up online to speak at the hearing by going to www.howardcountymd.gov/budgettestimony. Speakers must sign up individually. Individual testimony will be limited to three minutes and group testimony will be limited to five. Speakers who have a document or record they want to submit with their testimony need to email the file to budgettestimony@howardcountymd.gov, with “Budget Testimony” in the subject line.
