Sculpture Weighing 250 Pounds, Standing 9 Feet Tall On Display Outside Education Building

A sculpture weighing 250 pounds and standing 9 feet tall can be found on display outside the county department of education building.

The sculpture was installed on Aug. 2 as part of the Howard County Arts Council ARTsites annual public art exhibition. The 9-foot tall steel sculpture stands on a concrete base and will be on display outside the building through July 2025.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Department of Education building has been selected as the site for displaying “Metamorphosis,” a 250-pound sculpture by artist Hanna Jubran.

The sculpture was installed on Aug. 2 as part of the Howard County Arts Council ARTsites annual public art exhibition. The 9-foot tall steel sculpture stands on a concrete base and will be on display outside the county education department building through July 2025.
