Stormwater Drainage Project Along Gross Avenue In Laurel Won't Affect Traffic
A stormwater drainage project that starts Thursday shouldn't affect the flow of traffic along Gross Avenue in Laurel.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Traffic shouldn't be affected by a stormwater drainage project scheduled to start Thursday along Gross Avenue just north of its intersection with Lyon Avenue in Laurel.
The project calls for the relocation of an underground water line and installation of curb and gutter along with storm drainpipe and storm drain inlets. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by late June.
Signs will be posted in the area to alert drivers of the project and flagging operations will be in place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to direct traffic through the project site.
