Summer Series At Color Burst Park Starts This Month

COLUMBIA, MD — The fifth annual Summer Series at Color Burst Park will start June 12 with activities and fun for everyone.

Located in the Merriweather District, the Summer Series lasts through September and features live music, community workouts and activities for families. There's free admission and free parking.

Some of the upcoming events include:

• AMPED in the Park - Every other Wednesday night starting June 12 through September starting at 7 p.m.
• Grab a blanket, sip a fun drink, and enjoy live performances from acts like Sons of Mystro, Las Karamba, Zar Eletrik and more.
• Presented by Merriweather District and sponsored by the Merriweather Arts and Culture Center.
• Summer Fit Series - Every Tuesday from June 12 through Aug. 19 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
• Free, all level fitness classes alternating between yoga with YogaSix and high energy boxing workouts with Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. Just bring a mat, no registration required.
• Good Kid-izens Series - Every other Friday, June 14 – September 6 @ 6:00pm
• This family-friendly Friday night series invites kids to explore teamwork, kindness, and creativity through interactive activities, music, and crafts. Highlights include “Mi Comunidad” with 123 Andrés and a children’s business fair.
