Suspect Cuts Locks On Liquor Store Door, Steals Cash And Cigarettes: HCPD

A man cut locks on a liquor store door then stole cash and cigarettes before running off, according to Howard County Police.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A suspect broke into Snowden River Liquors in the overnight hours Aug. 4 by cutting the locks on the door, police report.

The incident happened shortly after 3 a.m. at the store, which is located in the 9300 block of Snowden River Parkway in Columbia. Howard County Police were summoned to the business by an in-store alarm and found that the suspect had stolen cash and cigarettes.

They found the suspect nearby and arrested him. Lavonte Lamar Lee, 29, of District Heights has been charged with burglary and theft, according to the police department.
