U.S. Anesthesia Partners Pitches In with TurnAround Inc. in Columbia

COLUMBIA, MD -- Volunteers from U.S. Anesthesia Partners' (USAP) Columbia practice helped pack "grab and go" bags for TurnAround Inc., which provides services to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking in Howard County. The September 21 event was part of USAP's annual nationwide USAP Cares Week volunteer activities.

Founded in 1978 and located at 10760 Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia, TurnAround is a designated rape crisis center and a comprehensive domestic violence center. TurnAround launched Maryland's first comprehensive anti-trafficking program.

USAP volunteers from Columbia included Vanessa Jones, Jon Oletsky, Andrea Vella, Stephanie Geltman, Laurie Meginnis, Joanne Adams, Jennifer Santoro, Nathalie Yotat, Lara Gilmore, Adrianne Feldmiller, Megan McCarthy, Michelle Loya, Kelly Lock and Stephanie Rey (Fly). USAP also donated $1,000 to TurnAround.

"As a local organization providing critical services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, TurnAround plays an essential role in supporting some of the most vulnerable members of Howard County. Partnering with them allows our volunteers to make a direct, meaningful impact right here in our own community."
