V's Healing Touch Massage Offers A Dozen Methods To Help Clients

COLUMBIA, MD — Thirteen years ago, Veronica Jones decided to capitalize upon her passion for helping people through healing energy by starting V's Healing Touch Massage. After offering both in-home and office-based table and chair massage for years, she decided in August 2023 to rent a suite in Wilde Lake.

"I love sharing knowledge with my clients and provide them with information on how they can continue healing well after their appointment with me. Massage therapy isn’t just a luxury, it is a healing modality that can assist with trauma, anxiety and other emotional problems. Massage can assist the body with healing itself," Jones told Patch.

"In addition to massage therapy, I’m also a Reiki master practitioner. This modality deals with energy and helps to unblock and balance chakras. Most often, pain is trapped energy in the body. A combination of massage and Reiki opens the road for additional healing. This year I’ve received my certifications for sound healing and crystal therapy," she added.

Jones happens to be trained in multiple types of massage including Swedish, sports massage, myofascial, hot stones, deep tissue, Reiki, sound healing, bamboo massage, chair massage and trigger point.

"My most popular service is of course, massage therapy. I customize each massage to the clients’ specific needs, utilizing a combination of deep tissue, Swedish and myofascial," Jones told Patch. "Customers love how knowledgeable I am, plus giving them advice on how to further healing at home. I can’t stress enough how a few minutes of stretching each day can lessen the chances of injuries. Breath work is another tool which can be used to make life easy. We are energetic beings living a human experience and there are a plethora of information I provide to lead a well balanced life."

Her clients are predominately from the DMV area. She loves being based in Columbia, as it allows her to be close to family and friends, she said.
